Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 17, 2026
DoneCast Inc. ("DoneCast," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to making our website and podcasting tools usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or magnification.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA across donecast.com, the DoneCast app, and the podcast websites we host for our creators.
What we do
- Automated accessibility testing runs against our key pages as part of every code change, so regressions are caught before they ship.
- Keyboard access: interactive controls are reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Color contrast: text and interactive elements are checked against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds, in both light and dark mode.
- Transcripts: every episode published through DoneCast includes a transcript in its RSS feed
(the
podcast:transcripttag), so listening apps can offer text alongside audio. - Mobile: our screens are built and verified to be fully usable at phone size, with touch targets large enough to tap reliably.
Creator-customized podcast websites
Podcast websites hosted on DoneCast subdomains can be styled by their creators, including custom colors. Our website builder automatically adjusts text colors that would otherwise be unreadable against a creator's chosen background. If you find a hosted podcast site that is hard to read or use, please tell us and we will work with the creator to fix it.
Known limitations
We are actively working through the accessibility of some of our older screens and of complex audio-editing interfaces (such as waveform and timeline editors), which are hard to make fully non-visual. If a task is blocked for you, contact us and we will help you complete it another way.
Feedback and contact
If you have trouble using any part of DoneCast, or have suggestions to make it more accessible, we want to hear from you:
- Email: legal@donecast.com
Please describe the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using (if any). We aim to respond within 5 business days.
